About Mary

Mary McGill, MA, LPC brings caring and heart into her work through individual and couples therapy, speaking engagements, and The Way of the Heart™ Training.  She inspires people to live from their hearts, with deep inner guidance and empowerment, for their most meaningful intentions. Mary helps them explore and deepen their relationships with themselves, with others, and with their communities.  Believing that the difficulties and limitations are part of the human journey, she teaches skills so that people can sustain hope.  Along with being a Licensed Professional Counselor for over 20 years, Mary is the Regional Coordinator, and an Instructor and Practitioner of The Way of the Heart in Portland, one of seven communities in North America to host these international trainings.  Mary is a member of the Oregon Mental Health Counseling Association and the American Counseling Association.  She is a Native San Franciscan and lives in Portland, Oregon with her husband.
